The service we offer normally commences with a free site visit and a no obligation discussion. If you decide to continue with your project a measured survey is then carried out, followed by the preparation of all the necessary drawings and structural calculations. Upon your approval, submissions are made to the relevant local authority, which sometimes have to include additional information such as:
Following approval, in most cases, our clients will take their approved drawings and calculations to find a building contractor of their choosing. This is the most cost-effective way of proceeding if your project is on a smaller scale, i.e. extension under 40 square metres or a loft under 40 cubic metres, however if required we can also offer further assistance in the form of project management. We can prepare fully detailed work specifications, schedules of work, full tender documentation and supervision of the work to completion and final account.
Our project base ranges from a front porch or internal wall removal, extensions or rooms in the roof, to new housing estates or apartment blocks. Very few companies can offer more experience in roof space conversions, as these form a large part of our work load. We take full account of the requirements of the Construction Design and Management regulations and the Party Wall Act.
“Understanding our customer’s individual requirements and delivering creative building design ideas is key to the success of our business. Our experienced and knowledgeable team can offer practical advice and solutions for your project, offer guidance during the early stages, provide estimates and realistic budget figures as well as manage the daunting local authority planning process.”
Chris Curnow, Managing Director.
