Thorns Young Architectural.

Established in 1999, the Thorns Young team have extensive experience in architectural design and building surveying. Our experience extends to all aspects of the profession, including Local Authority, Architectural Practices and Building Contractors whilst working closely with the client and their needs.

Planning Applications

We act as your agent during the planning stage of your project* and liaise with the council throughout, on your behalf. Our many years of experience working directly with planning officers can help direct your project to a positive outcome.

*Not all projects require planning permission.

Building Regulations

The majority of building works require building regulation approval. All our drawings are designed to meet the latest regulations. We have a close partnership with the local authority and all building control submissions are made by ourselves.

Structural Calculations

We are one of few architectural firms locally that carry out our own structural calculations in house, no matter how big or small.
